Dear Reader,

As a biker who has lived to tell his story, I wish to do so every chance I get. Most of my generation and about 90% of my friends never made it this far. Only by the Grace of God I am what I am today. I am a 1%er today only because out of the 70's crowd of my hippie and biker friends I am left almost alone. One thing is for sure, NO PEER PRESSURE! I have watched a lot of my friends and family die with a liquor bottle or a fist full of pills in their hand. One friend flipped his bike down the road 115 feet end over end and died before my 21st birthday. Personally I have had my own struggles through the years; I started on drugs at 11 years old. Motorcycles have always been a part of my life, to the point till it became an Idol in my life; from the Speedway Mini bike at 5 years old I was hooked. My dad always had bikes and I loved it. When I was about 6 years old dad brought home a 47 Knucklehead in three tin wash tubs. I managed to snag the suicide tank shifter after dad converted it. It made a cool throttle lever on that mini bike. I had my first encounter with drugs at the age of 11 and by the time I was 13 had tried just about everything and everything was out there in the seventies. At around 17 or 18 I got my first Harley and went full on into the biker lifestyle and all that went with it. I bought and had to sell several bikes due to the drug abuse bill that would mount up from time to time. Time would fail me to tell you of all the friends I have seen leave this world and go into eternity without Jesus Christ and without hope.  I was converted at age 35 in 1995 due to the prayers and intersession of friends and family that knew God. Now I look forward to telling the old, old story of how Jesus came into my heart and Saved me Body, Soul, and Spirit and gave me life eternal.  Hope to see you somewhere on the road and tell you about Somebody who can save a Nobody and give him a story to tell everybody.

                                                                                            Sincerely, Brother Scott Durham
